Will a pet sitter care for my pets in my
    home or theirs?
A pet sitter  visits your pets in your own home.
This helps maintain their routine as much as
possible and makes them more comfortable in
    familiar surroundings.

How many visits a day does my pet
    need?
It's best to have a minimum of two visits per day
for dogs; three visits would be ideal. These
details will be discussed with you during your
    initial consultation.

Q: How long is each service?

A: Length of our pet services depends on the
type of pet being cared for and the type of
    service you have requested.

How long does each visit last?
A visit will last anywhere from 20 minutes to one
    hour.

What days do pet sitters provide their
    services?
We work seven days a week.

What do you charge for pet sitting?
Prices range from $16.00 for 30 minutes to
$28.00 for one hour. The national average for
pet sitting is between  $12--$18  for 30 minutes.

What if something happens to you
and you are not able to get to my
    pets?
We have emergency contact numbers (your
trusted friends or family) on file as well as your
vet's number in case of an emergency.

What can I expect from a professional
    sitter?
Scheduled, reliable care. Generally, the visits
will consist of providing fresh food and water,
play time, outdoor time, and special loving
attention for your pets. Other services may be
provided such as taking trash out, rotating lights,
bringing mail in, etc . In the rare emergency case
that we have problems making it to your home in
the 2 hour or 1 day span you select, we will use
a backup plan to care for your pets.  Part of the
backup plan may be to split a visit into 2 evenly
spaced visits, to have an emergency backup
sitter cover the sit, or to call you or your
    emergency contact to reschedule.

Do my pets need to be current on
    their vaccinations?
Yes. Please make current pet vaccination
records available at the initial booking
    consultation.

Will my pets and I meet the pet sitter
    before service starts?
Yes!  In fact, this is a requirement before pet
sitting services can begin.  All new clients will be
scheduled for a free booking consultation.
During this time, the pet sitter/owner will meet
the pet owners, have an opportunity to interact
with the pets and be able to go over all
    contracts, policies and guidelines.

I have a family member that lives
close by and will also visit. Is that
    okay?
Many people like to include neighbors, relatives,
and friends in pet sitting duties. These well-
    intentioned actions cause much confusion
    during a shared responsibility sitting
assignment. Most common among problems is
over-feeding, unlocked doors, lost keys, or
missed feedings. We absolutely cannot be
responsible for any sitting assignment where
others are going to share the workload.

Should I call before I leave or when I
    get back?
Absolutely! Give your pet sitter a call right before
you leave to confirm that you are leaving as
planned. Another call is in order when you return
home to let the pet sitter know your pets are
safely in your care once more.

What happens if I will be delayed in
    returning home?
It is extremely important that you let us know
immediately if you will be arriving home late from
your vacation in order for care to be continued.
Please note that you will be charged for extra
    visits.

What if there is an emergency in my
    home, unrelated to my pet?
We will do everything possible to resolve the
situation without disrupting your trip. We will
contact your emergency contact for instruction
and if necessary, we will contact you.

What if the pet sitter is not available
during the time I will be away?
Pet sitters take vacations too!  At times, pet
sitters will also be out of town or unavailable
during the time a client needs service.  Clients
will be referred to one our trusted pet sitting
service colleagues that will deliver a similar
    standard of care.

    I don’t know my neighbors…so who
    can be my contact?
You can list your vet or a close family member.
